The Grey Lynn Business Association are planning a tidy up of Grey Lynn in time for Rugby World Cup. Auckland Council has launched a Town Centre Tidy Up initiative and we see this as a great opportunity to beautify our local business area and increase local pride.
During July / August 2011 we will be inviting volunteers to assist us to tackle areas that most need a spruce up. This may include gardening, painting, tag removal, window cleaning etc…
We would like to get your opinion on which areas of our community most need to be tidied up, and invite you to assist with this clean up. It will be a community event, using volunteers, sponsorship and community spirit.
